Dr. Chia-Yen Cha was appointed the Vice President of Technology and Product Engineering at Inotera Memories in July, 2006.

Prior to joining Inotera, Chia-Yen spent 10 years in various positions in the semiconductor business, most recently as Director for program management in Asia-Pacific for Qimonda's Business Unit Consumer and Mobile. He previously held a variety of key technology and production positions in Siemens AG and Infineon Technologies AG, including technology and production ramp-up, yield management and foundry operation.

Chia-Yen holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Physics from the University of Cologne, Germany and a M.S. in Physics from Technical University Munich, Germany.
