Yaw Wen joined Inotera in June 2010 and is currently the Senior Vice President of Advanced Technology Group. His responsibilities include the transfer and pilot run of advanced technology, and the enhancement of development in new products.

Yaw Wen brings more than 30 years of semiconductor experience to Inotera, with ample experience in technology development and technology transfer. Prior to joining Inotera, Yaw Wen was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Silicon Storage Technology, Inc. (SST), a fabless semiconductor company specialized in Flash memory. In that capacity, he led the technical team, oversaw the technology development, managed out-sourcing operations and developed relationships with major foundry partners.

Prior to his work at SST, Yaw Wen served as Deputy General Manager of Technology Development of Vitelic Taiwan and Mosel Vitelic Inc. from 1990 to 1993. Before that, he was Fab Engineering Manager of Integrated Device Technology, Inc. from 1988. Yaw Wen started his professional career in 1978 at Intel Corporation as a senior staff engineer.

Yaw Wen obtained a Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics from Stanford University and holds ten US patents. Yaw Wen is the board member of Monte Jade Science and Technology Association (West Coast), a non-profit organization to promote the cooperation and mutual flow of technology and investment, and served as its Chairman during 2009.
