Charles Kau has been the President of Inotera Memories. Inc. since March, 2004 and also serves on the company's Board as a representative of Nanya Technology.
Before his leadership at Inotera, Charles was Executive Vice President in charge of operation and sales & marketing at Nanya Technology from 1996 to February 2004 and he oversaw global sales, strategic marketing, international business development, and legal & IP functions for the company.
Prior to his work at Nanya, Charles was the co-founder and Executive Vice President at Macronix International Co., Ltd. from 1989 to 1995 and, in that capacity, he was responsible for the worldwide sales and operation & manufacturing. Charles is a 27-year veteran in the semiconductor industry with impressive global experiences in various senior positions at companies, such as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd, Vitelic Inc., Intel Corporation, and Fairchild Semiconductor.
Charles holds a M.S. in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University, U.S.A. Charles was Chairman of Socle Technology Corporation and currently serves as a Director of How-Men Technology.
