Fred Fishburn joined Inotera in 2008; his responsibilities include Product Engineering, Process Integration, Yield Improvement, and cross functional technology transfer teams.

Fred brings 24 years of semiconductor experience to Inotera, with 20 years of experience in DRAM technology development and transfer. Prior to joining Inotera, Fred worked for 10 years in Research and Development in Micron Technology. Starting from 2002, he led the initial 200mm new process development effort for the 78nm 6F2 DRAM, following through with the 300mm development and transfer into volume production. Most recently, he has focused on improving new technology transfer into initial production.

Fred worked for Honeywell’s Solid State Electronics Division for almost 4 years, and then 10 years in Texas Instruments MOS Memory.  He led the transfer of the 0.5um process to production in Singapore, Japan, Italy and Taiwan.  He co-managed the 0.28um DRAM development between TI - Hitachi and transfer into the production sites before joining Micron when they acquired Texas Instruments DRAM memory business in 1998.
