Scott Meikle joined Inotera in June, 2010 as Executive Vice President. In that role, he has joint responsibility for leadership and oversight of all operations, including facilities, planning, procurement, capital raising, finance, HR, technology development, manufacturing, and parent company interface.
Prior to joining Inotera, Scott was Factory Manager in charge of managing Micron’s manufacturing facility in Japan since September 2005, focusing on manufacturing efficiency, organizational development and integration of domestic workforce into a multinational company. From 2002 till 2005, he served as Micron Virginia Pilot Line Manager, leading the start-up and volume ramp of Micron’s first 300mm manufacturing facility. Scott joined Micron in 1991 and was responsible for research and development work, contributing to new materials, processes and IP development for Micron’s semiconductor technology base. Scott holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics from Shizuoka University, a M.S. in Engineering Physics from McMaster University, and a B.Sc. in Physics from University of Calgary.
